Kazakhstan tulip production expands amid high import dependence
In the coldest region of Kazakhstan, near Astana, local greenhouse production of tulips is developing alongside large-scale imports. One greenhouse complex prepared around 150,000 tulips across 35 varieties for the March 8 peak demand period.

Orchid export orders rise 3% after Tainan show
The agriculture ministry said Friday that Taiwan secured NT$750 million (US$23.46 million) in orchid export orders at the Taiwan International Orchid Show in Tainan, a 3% increase from last year.
CNA reported that more than 300,000 people visited the exhibition. During the event, 32 buyers from 20 countries met with 37 Taiwanese orchid growers for 224 business meetings.

Denmark: Container Centralen appoints new COO and CCO as management team expands
Container Centralen (CC), the Denmark-based provider of reusable load carriers for the European ornamental horticulture industry, has appointed Nanne van der Burg as Chief Operating Officer (COO) with effect from 1 March 2026.
