News » 28.08.2025 - Armenia: Over $6M allocated to new flower greenhouse

Voske Garden company intends to import materials necessary for the establishment of a greenhouse complex in the Gegharkunik region of Armenia, where roses will be cultivated, with a total investment amounting to 2.35 billion drams.

The Armenian government made a decision during a meeting on Thursday to exempt this company from customs duties on its imports.

As part of the investment initiative, it is projected that 190 million drams will be directed towards construction activities, 2.1 billion drams will be allocated for the purchase of fixed assets (which includes the cost of imported greenhouses), and 60 million drams will be invested in working capital.

The strategy includes exporting the majority of the cultivated roses to the Russian Federation and other international markets. By 2028, it is anticipated that 50 new jobs will be created.

The value of the goods submitted to qualify for the benefit is 1.1 billion drams. The estimated benefit from the exemption of customs duties is 57 million drams.
