Registration is now officially open for the 77th AIPH Annual Congress. Taking place from 14th to 18th September 2025, the Congress invites delegates to the beautiful city of Ghent in Belgium, where they will explore the subjects of sustainability and technology in the horticulture industry.
The five-day event is organized by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) in collaboration with Host Partner AVBS, AIPH's member in Belgium, Congress Sponsor Biblo, and Conference Sponsors GLOBALG.A.P. & GGN Label, TTA-ISO, and WeLodge.
Included in the program is the AIPH International Horticultural Expo Conference, where attendees will receive updates from AIPH-approved Expos such as the much-anticipated Green Expo 2027 Yokohama in Japan and Expo 2029 Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima) in Thailand.
On 16th September, the AIPH International Horticultural Industry Conference will welcome key speakers from around the world to present on the Conference's two topics: sustainability and technology.
The Conference features an impressive lineup of speakers from various sectors of the horticulture and sustainability industries. Mr. Daan de Vries, an Independent Sustainability Consultant from the Netherlands, and Ms. Sylvie Mamias, the Secretary General of Union Fleurs in France, will be sharing their insights. Also contributing to the discussions will be Ms. Cecilia Luetgebrune, the Secretary General of Growing Media Europe based in Belgium, and Ms. Jennifer Pheasey, Director of Public Affairs at the Horticultural Trades Association in the UK. Representing Kenya, Mr. Clement Tulezi, the CEO of the Kenya Flower Council, will bring his perspective. From the Netherlands, the conference will host Ms. Stefanie Miltenburg, Head of Public Affairs at Royal FloraHolland, as well as Mr. Jeroen Oudheusden, the Executive Officer of the Floriculture Sustainability Initiative (FSI), and Mr. Joep Hendricks, Business Development Manager at TTA-ISO. Rounding out this distinguished panel are Ms. Julia Ostrowski, the Senior Sustainability Manager at Horticert in Germany, and Ms. Mirjam Boekestijn, the CEO of Dutch Greenhouse Delta, also from the Netherlands.
The Congress is an opportunity for delegates to gain insights from leading experts and innovators, connect with international peers and build valuable relationships, discover new technologies and market opportunities, and contribute to the global dialogue on the future of horticulture.
Early bird registration discounts are available until 15 July 2025. Delegates may register for the full Congress or select individual sessions, with flexible options designed to suit different schedules.
AIPH has arranged exclusive accommodation rates for Congress delegates at the NH Collection Gent, located just a short walk from the city's historic centre. The special room rates are available from 13 to 19 September 2025 and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The booking link will remain active until 29 August 2025.
