 After a series of projects and partnerships in the North American market, Schmid opens its first branch in Toronto. This step is part of the expansion strategy and enables Schmid to work even more closely with partners and customers. Proximity to the market and a focus on customer needs are an important part of the Schmid Group's strategic orientation.

 

The company, developing renewable energy solutions, has been developing and building biomass boilers since 1936 and finds customers in industries such as forestry, timber construction, horticulture, agriculture, and heating plants for public buildings. Their range of biomass combustion systems and the technology behind them are developed and manufactured in-house by Schmid energy solutions.

The new branch in Toronto is the point of contact for partners, planning offices, installers, sales agents and government organizations. The central location makes it possible to process biomass projects and inquiries efficiently and close to the customer.
