News » 16.10.2026 - Master Florist announces the Cymbidium Info Challenge 2026
Master Florist has announced the Cymbidium Info Challenge 2026. This year's theme, "Worth Every Stem", celebrates the partnership between growers who spend years cultivating exceptional cymbidiums and florists who transform every premium stem into lasting value. Every stem represents craftsmanship, care and quality. Its true worth is realised when it becomes a design that captivates customers, creates premium impact and delivers commercial success.
The challenge invites florists to demonstrate how one bloom, one stem, or a few stems can create elegant, memorable designs with high perceived value. By designing smarter and creating more with less, this showcases why cymbidium is a premium flower that is worth every stem.
Why join the Cymbidium Info 2026 Challenge?
Participants get featured on Master Florist, showcasing their work to a global audience of florists, designers, and floral enthusiasts. They also unlock future opportunities, standing a chance to be invited to exclusive collaborations, creative campaigns, and featured content. The challenge helps build industry connections too, allowing participants to build relationships with growers and industry partners, with opportunities including grower visits and behind-the-scenes experiences. Finally, there are prizes to be won, with cymbidiums worth up to €250 on offer.
Beyond celebrating floral creativity, the challenge highlights how every cymbidium stem represents years of dedication from expert growers and how florists unlock its true value through thoughtful design.
By sharing inspiring creations, participants help demonstrate cymbidium's versatility, commercial potential, and lasting appeal, while giving growers and industry partners valuable insight into how premium stems are transformed into designs that resonate with florists and customers alike.
How to participate: To take part, bring the "Worth Every Stem" theme to life by creating a cymbidium arrangement that highlights how even one or a few stems can create extraordinary floral impact. Share the creation on social media with the hashtag #CymbidiumDesign2026, and tag @cymbidium.info and @MasterFlorist on both Facebook and Instagram. Entries can also be submitted via email to floristmedia@gmail.com.
From expert cultivation to creative inspiration
Behind every cymbidium stem is years of craftsmanship and dedication from specialised growers. Cymbidium Info, a collective of cymbidium growers, works to showcase the quality, diversity, and potential of these premium blooms while inspiring florists to transform every stem into something memorable.
Explore the value & beauty behind every cymbidium stem
A cymbidium stem is more than a premium flower; it is an opportunity to create value. From the hands of dedicated growers to the creativity of florists, every stem carries the quality, care, and craftsmanship needed to make a lasting impression.
With its distinctive petals, sepals and elegant lip, cymbidium adds sophistication and structure to a wide range of floral styles. Its diverse colours and flower sizes allow florists to create everything from modern commercial designs to artistic, high-impact arrangements.
Whether showcased as a single statement stem or used to enhance a larger composition, cymbidium demonstrates that exceptional design does not always require more stems. Only the right ones. That is the essence of "Worth Every Stem".
