Dümmen Orange subsidiary Red Fox Ethiopia has officially inaugurated the country's first dedicated mass-rearing facility for beneficial insects at its farm in Koka Negewo.

This facility marks a decisive structural pivot toward Integrated Pest Management (IPM), enabling the company to breed natural pest control agents directly on-site.

By replacing conventional chemical pesticides with biological alternatives, the initiative introduces an eco-friendly approach that effectively curbs the destructive pests that compromise flower-cutting quality, safely insulating the farm's sprawling 100-hectare operations from production vulnerabilities.
